Storytelling has always been at the heart of who I am. Whether through documentary film, podcasting, public speaking, or community advocacy, I am passionate about uncovering stories that connect people, challenge assumptions, and inspire change.

As a mature student, I returned to university and earned my Bachelor of Communication in Broadcast Media Studies from Mount Royal University with honours. That journey taught me that reinvention is possible at any stage of life, a lesson that continues to shape both my work and the stories I choose to tell.

Since graduating, I have contributed to documentaries, reality television, digital media projects, and STORYHIVE-funded productions, working as a producer, story editor, interviewer, and host. My work focuses on resilience, identity, community, and the extraordinary impact of ordinary people.

Beyond media production, I have spent nearly a decade volunteering with Distress Centre Calgary, supporting individuals through crisis and coaching new volunteers.

 

Those experiences deepened my understanding of human connection and reinforced my belief that every person has a story worth telling.

Whether I'm interviewing a changemaker, speaking to an audience, producing a documentary, or stepping in front of a camera, my goal remains the same: to amplify voices that deserve to be heard and create stories that leave people feeling informed, inspired, and a little less alone
